No Break-In Required! The Skookum MegaTuff Glove was designed on the request of bowhunters who have been shooting the SuperGlove for years.
However, because of the high performance of the newer reflex/deflex bows; more and more traditional bowhunters are moving towards lighter draw weights.
Many felt that the cordovan tipped SuperGlove was a little too stiff for a smooth release with the lighter bows.
The Skookum Glove, field tested for two years, uses MegaTuff, an industrial grade synthetic material on the finger tips. MegaTuff is incredibly smooth, and really allows the bowhunter to “feel the string”, but in time the fuzziness of the MegaTuff will start to wear off. Don't worry, it still shoots great and never requires a break in period.
Recommended for bows from 40 to 50 pounds.
