For compound bows, longbows, and recurve bows.

The Alaskan, because of its wide spine range and heavy weight, is the most popular shaft of the GrizzlyStik line.

With a static spine designed for 50#-80# + bows, the Alaskan shaft makes up a finished arrow weighting between 550 and 650+ grains including a 125 to 250+ grain head. This makes it just right for most moderate draw weight bows and virtually any game animal from whitetails to kudu.

Finished Alaskan arrows weigh in at approximately 550 and 650+ grains including a 125 to 250+ grain head.

The Alaskan, full length at 32.5" BOP, comes with brass point inserts and push-in, tunable white nocks. Since not all bows in the same draw weight are alike, for best arrow flight, it is highly recommended that the customer tune the shaft to the bow. Besides adjusting point weight, tuning the arrow to the bow often requires cutting the shaft to adjust the spine. If you request the shafts cut to length in our shop, a $4.00 service charge will be added.

Feathers - Our precision factory finished tapered GrizzlyStik arrows with feathers come hand fletched with a left wing 5" white cock feather, solid chartreuse hen feathers, a chartreuse and white cresting wrap, 72 grain brass point inserts and tunable white nocks.

Vanes - Our precision factory finished tapered GrizzlyStik arrows with vanes come hand fletched with 2" Blazer vanes with a white cock vane, chartreuse hen vanes, chartreuse and white cresting wrap, 72 grain brass point inserts and tunable white nocks.

Notes: Once the shafts are cut to length, they cannot be returned.

The brass point insert is back threaded to accept our point weight system.

GrizzlyStiks have a special low-drag finish. For that reason we recommend that you always use our GrizzlyStik arrow cresting wraps when gluing on feathers.

6 shafts per pack.

"Thanks for a great arrow. I shoot the same arrow out of three bows I own from 53 lbs to 63 lbs and they fly like darts."  Pat Corrado, Jr.

Here's a BIG grizzly shot with an Alaskan GrizzlyStik arrow.

GrizzlyStik arrows are good for small game and stump shooting too. Here's a shot of a GrizzlyStik Alaskan that powered a big small game blunt completely through this log. It was shot from a 47 pound longbow... That's why we call them power shafts. Power your broadheads AND small game heads with GrizzlyStik arrows. You see the hard-hitting difference.

perfection
I recived my alaskin grizzly sticks about two weeks ago. I kept them at full length and fitted them with a 100 gr pt. They shot perfect right out of the box. I practiced about 4 hours and was getting softball ball size grouping at 20yds with my selfmade longbow 65# at 28'. The second hunting trip out for a late archery deer hunt. I took a doe with my alaskins. she came trotting by and I managed the shot while she was still in motion. The arrow hit its mark and I knew my alaskins did a job well done. No flashlights requird for this eveinging track since the amount of blood was overwhelming. Upon field dressing her there was a lovly slit matching my two blade broadhead in her heart itself. I got extremely good penetration as this deer was slightly quartering away from me as I shot. I started my early archery season with cedar shafts that warped and got out of tune with practice and natural use. I missed four deer useing my cedar shafts and the amount of frustration made me almost switch to compound.. I believe grizzlysticks are the best carbon shafts out there ESPECIALLY with there tapered design. These arrows are everything they claim to be and more. They will peak your confidence with every bullseye and downed animal you get. I would recomend these to anyone. any skill level with any kind of bow. If they dont shoot right directly out of the box try diffrent grain points. if your still having problems then cut your shaft at an inch incriment and try the diffrent points again and eventually youll be shooting like never before and you will fall in love with these shafts also! thanks!

Grateful hunter.
I shoot a 57# recurve. First shot the Alaskan shafts before an Alaska Moose hunt fall 2008. They shoot great and I found I could really fine tune my instinctive shooting with such consistent flight. After 3 days in the bush stump shooting I had incredible confidence in my abilities. My buddy called a 56" er in to 20 yards and a left atrium, double lung pass through led to a 50 yard blood trail. In whitetail season I shot a buck in the shoulder. After a loud "whack" sound and seeing the shaft with tip broken I didn't expect much. Surprisingly the arrow had 20" of blood on it and I took up the trail. 75 yards later I found him, with shoulder blade pass through then double lung. The arrow had been broken by the far side leg then popped back out. If I had these arrows I would have 2 other Pope and Young deer mounts on my wall due to wooden shaft breaking on shoulder impact. Thanks.

Everything they say plus some!
The Alaskan GrizzlyStik's are incredible! They are everything they claim to be plus some. My 60" longbow at 56# is tack driving those Alaskan's like darts. Plus Ed provides great customer service and insight on the phone.
