Of the African Big 5, only one animal is affectionately referred to as
"Black Death".... the Cape Buffalo.
Though completely debatable, many hunters also state that Black Death's cousin, the Asiatic Water Buffalo, is a Cape Buffalo with a really bad attitude.
What is not debatable, is the fact that both species of Buffalo are extremely large, have a nasty disposition and are about the most challenging and dangerous animals on the hoof to take with an arrow.

This arrow was shot from a 66# bow at about 10 yards. After slicing through 1" thick hide and the 7/8" rib, the arrow penetrated through and the broadhead exited the off side by 4".
